Welcome
My first camera (the solid Zenith -EM) was bought to record family events turned quickly into an absorbing hobby.
Looking through monographs of well known photographers quickly made me realise it involved more than pointing the lens at a subject and pressing the shutter release, and has increased my awareness of the world around me.
Having spent many happy hours in the darkroom producing black & white prints, I now also enjoy the lightroom and can broaden my horizons printing in colour as well.
To me digital requires the same degree of skill and visualisation, but has the added benefit of being able to undo my mistakes without having to start again from scratch.
Asked what I enjoy taking pictures of the answer is anything that interests me and my galleries on this web site no doubt demonstrate this.
